The Alabama Technology Network provides technical education and workforce training programs for area industries. The program is a partnership between two-year colleges, the University of Alabama system, Auburn University and the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama (EDPA).

Center for Manufacturing Innovation (CMI)

The Center for Manufacturing Innovation, located on the Calhoun Community College Campus in Limestone County, Alabama, offers students training in advanced manufacturing processes. The center provides short-term, industry-focused training courses, customized to the workforce needs of area industries.

The CMI is a joint venture between Calhoun Community College, the State of Alabama, the Alabama Department of Postsecondary Education, Manufacture Alabama, the Alabama Technology Network (ATN), Drake State Technical College, Snead State Community College, Northeast Community College, and area Chambers of Commerce and local industries.

Through their WorkKeys program, Calhoun Community College offers tailored workforce development programs. Area businesses can receive assistance with employee recruitment, development, and ongoing training.
