About LCEDA

The goal of Limestone County Economic Development Association is to create jobs in Limestone County, Alabama by recruiting new business and industry and the expansion of existing industries.

Membership

Membership is open to any individual, firm or corporation interested in the economic development of Limestone County, Alabama. Membership dues are established by the Board of Directors and each member in good standing is entitled to one vote.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors consists of up to twenty one members elected by the membership for one year terms. These individuals are representatives of government, industry, businesses, and professional organizations throughout Limestone County.

Funding

Funding for Limestone County Economic Development Association is provided by the Limestone County Commission, The City of Athens, local municipalities, The Athens Limestone Chamber of Commerce, local utilities, and through support of our members.

Assistance

Limestone County Economic Development Association provides many confidential services to new and existing industries.
